Position Summary
- PLD (Product Liability Defense)
- To minimize risk exposure to property damage or bodily injury incidents.
- PLP (Product Liability Prevention)
- To eliminate potential risk or similar incident from new products/ models.
Common Essential Duties & Resp.
- Daily claim collection
- Samsung branded product:
- OEM branded product:
- Insurance subrogation or tendered
- GPLS (Global Product Liability System) Registration
- Real time information sharing with SEC/ SEA/ others
- Timely input and detailed description
- Periodic case status update
- GPLS / CHUBB RMIS (Risk Management Information System) update
- E-mail updates
- Supporting required documentation
- Technical information
- Owners manual; Service manual; UL report; Product verification
- Bi-Annual claims review
- WEMED/ SEA/ SFM/ AON/ Chubb
- Litigation or major case review
- On-Site inspection
- Scene inspection
- Product inspection/ Destructive testing
- Deposition and Trial witness
- Shipping evidence to SEC
- Monthly report
- Tendency or pattern analysis
- Detail progress on major pending claims
Necessary Skills / Attributes
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years in Risk Management
- Education:
- Certification:
- CFEI (Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator) preferred
- Technical Knowledge:
- Electronics Product; SAP / CIC; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
