Position Summary
The Manager for HA Marketing Intelligence leads generating consumer
insights from primary and secondary research sources to move the HA
business. Role executes, analyzes and reports both qualitative and
quantitative researches on Samsung and competition. Candidate must have
strong and proven leadership in bringing the voice of the consumer to
the decision table. Candidate must be well-versed in executing and
analyzing a variety of quantitative and qualitative studies such as
product testing/tracking, concept testing, shopper understanding brand
tracking. They should be able to work with Marketing, Product
Development and Market Intelligence constituents based in Korea. Strong
CPG background is a plus. This role requires some traveling and late
evenings for execution of consumer research purposes, i.e focus groups,
in-homes, shop-alongs etc.
Common Essential Duties & Resp.
Attending key business and leadership meetings
Custom Reporting: Hired candidate will gather data/ information from
multiple sources and compile insights for regular reporting, from both
primary and secondary sources.
Agency management and quality control: Work closely with external
research vendors and creative firms ensuring the successful execution of
fieldwork. Upon completion, the key findings are reviewed and
business-oriented recommendations made in conjunction with manager.
Presentation Preparation: Analysts will be responsible for the creation
of presentations based on findings; presentations will be in regard to
contextual analysis of US market, as well as to overall strategy of
NAHQ.
Necessary Skills / Attributes
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred
- 5+ years of work experience in consumer packaged goods research,
consumer electronics or consulting research
- High degree of communication skills
- Solid presentation skills
- Project management skills a plus
