SEA_Channel Marketing Manager, B2B | Samsung Electronics America, Inc. | Ridgefield Park, NJ
Position Summary
Primary responsibility for driving sales of Samsung branded memory &
storage products in the B2B channel. Work closely with EBD sales team to
achieve sales targets and market share goals. Develop and coordinate B2B
channel programs within budget and P&L structure. Develop new business
opportunities with resellers and end users.
Common Essential Duties & Resp.
- Develop and coordinate B2B channel programs within budget and P&L
structure
- Set quarterly VIR targets and monthly forecasts; track sales progress
- Lead bi-weekly con calls with key accounts
- Track SPA (Special Price Approval) opportunities, verify claims, and
harvest end user opportunities.
- Develop vertical market opportunities in government and education
segments
- Identify and develop new opportunities with sales team
- Attend sales calls, trainings, and floor day events
- Analyze weekly sell-through to track sales growth and identify key
trends across top indirect accounts
- Develop A+ website content for reseller partners
- Work with EBD channel marketing to include memory in all facets of
reseller communication vehicles (website content, newsletters, webinars)
Necessary Skills / Attributes
- A Bachelor's Degree; a MBA is preferred
- At least 3 years experience in product/channel marketing
- Experience in B2B marketing - preferably marketing an electronics or
technology product
- Experience in the commercial and corporate channels
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Strong people leadership skills
- Drive for new business development
- Assimilate and analyze various data sources
- Detail oriented; thorough follow up
- Microsoft Office proficiency
